Dear Friends
Last year saw an incredible event, the first-ever British Shas-a-thon! We learned the whole of Talmud Bavli in one single day!
We raised a huge amount of money for one of the most important charities I know: A.T.I.M.E, an organisation that supports, guides, strengthens and helps in material ways Jewish couples that have not yet received the blessing of a child.
There are other organisations active in this field and they, too, deserve our whole-hearted supports. To see the work of A.T.I.M.E. please visit the web sites https://shasathonuk.org/
This year we are going to do it again! Roughly ten daf per chevrusa partnership! Hundreds of Jews sitting and learning the entire day!
Can you imagine what this means? What huge amount of Light of Torah is spread in the world?
The day is drawing near: on Sunday 8 November we are assembling for this unbelievable event. Please visit our web pageshasathonuk.org and my own page there https://shasathonuk.org/
So far the sales pitch…
Now my request ‑ and I make no apologies…
PLEASE SPONSOR ME GENEROUSLY!
Every penny raised goes to A.T.I.M.E.! All the costs have already been donated so all the money we raise can go directly to this very very important charity.
HOW?
You can do it online! Click the DONATE button on my Shas-a-thon page. Just decide on your BIG amount and the dialog will offer you various payment options, including paying directly with your Charity Company account – all major voucher companies are supported.
Or send an email to Shas-a-thon at [email protected] with cc: to me [email protected].
Or send your donation to my home address 29 St Andrews Road, London NW11 0PH.
Or just hand it to me when you see me.
Please reach deep in your pocket and help me to help those who long for the blessing of a child.
Dear friend, may the merit of your participation in this great cause give you abundant blessings!
וראה בנים לבניך שלום על ישראל
